HQ Machinery’s modern platform, including the CM300, uses a heavy-duty, open-cam design paired with intelligent servo drives. This configuration reduces vibration at speeds of 100+ units per minute. Servos allow independent control of critical stages, such as bottom feeding and knurling, minimizing material waste and stabilizing overall machine operation.
Working with biodegradable coatings like PLA or water-based dispersion barriers requires precise thermal control. Traditional thermal heaters can scorch organic materials if the machine stops momentarily. Our ultrasonic sealing technology bonds the paper fibers molecularly without excessive external heat. Our visual inspection system uses high-resolution CCD cameras to scan the rim, interior, and bottom of every single cup or bowl. If a defect, stain, or structural error is detected, the unit is automatically ejected from the stream without stopping the main line. Our engineering division handles challenging specifications, including non-standard and shaped flanges. While traditional round containers are mechanically straightforward, rectangular and square options (such as those processed by the FCM200) present challenges due to variable tension at the corners during bottom knurling and rim folding. Our customized tooling configurations resolve these issues, ensuring clean edges and uniform structural strength.
